I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.

and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like

this is NOT a negative in the slightest, I love it all, this truly was an incredible update in so many ways

kacchan telling izuku that his body moved on his own is fucking crazy. like not only did kacchan remember izuku saying that all the way back from the sludge-villain incident but he’s also confirming that izuku’s crazy, boarder-line suicidal intensity is a two way street. it’s not just izuku who is insane about kacchan it’s mutual insanity. kacchan’s body moved on its own. he was helpless but to throw himself into the line of fire when he saw izuku was in danger. he didn’t think about it. he didn’t choose to do it. he didn’t have a choice. it was as if izuku was a piece of his own soul. katsuki instinctually needed to protect him above all else, even at the cost of his own life

tidbit tuesday/wip wednesday

it's technically still tuesday in new york but wednesday in many other parts of the world and the lovelies @doeeyeseddie and @sibylsleaves tagged me, so i am doing a tidbit tuesday & wip wednesday mash-up!!! here goes the beginning of my next prompt fill <333 (which is actually one that pia herself sent me!!!)

“What do you mean you don’t like kissing?”  The girl handing them their order at the coffee shop gives Buck an amused glance before moving her eyes over to Eddie and raising her eyebrows. With his cheeks bright red as a firetruck, Eddie grabs his coffee, mumbles his gratitude to her, and then spins on his heels, moving faster than Buck has ever seen him do as he heads towards the exit. Buck accepts his own drink from the barista, sends a half-sheepish half-apologetic smile her way, and follows Eddie as quickly as he can, taking advantage of the fact that, despite their height difference not being that pronounced, Buck’s legs are a lot longer than Eddie’s, allowing him to catch up with him in only a couple of seconds despite Eddie’s headstart. “Hey, Eddie, hey,” Buck says once they’re shoulder to shoulder on the sidewalk, going towards an unspecified location at a very rapid speed, like Eddie is trying to leave his embarrassment as far behind as possible. “What do you mean you don’t like kissing?”  Eddie’s cheeks redden impossibly further, the color spreading down his neck and up his ears. Buck wonders whether his skin would feel warm to the touch, whether he’d get burnt if he rested his fingertips right on Eddie’s pulse point under his jawline. Buck has to clench the fingers of his empty hand to resist the temptation find out for himself. “I didn’t say I don’t like kissing,” Eddie clarifies, his eyes shifting around like he’s making sure no one gets too close to them and hears their conversation. “I like kissing just fine, it’s… Kissing. All I said is that I’ve just never gotten the fuss about it.”

Belphie, shifting in your lap: Gross.

MC: Shh, go back to sleep, Bel. Anyway, I know that, but Barbatos is so powerful.

Solomon: And hot?

MC: Extremely hot. The only thing that evens the playing field is his fear of rats. It’s got to suck to have his weakness be a small creature I could literally hold in my hands.

Solomon: To be fair, I know something you could hold in your hands that would make me weak, too.

MC: I swear, if you’re talking about-

Solomon: Yes, my dick.

MC: . . .

Belphie: You don’t even need to use both hands for mine.

MC: I thought I told you to go back to sleep!

Solomon: Did he just. . .?

MC: Yeah, he doesn’t mind admitting he’s on the smaller side.

Belphie: Small dick, open mind. I provide options and variety, what do you offer?

Solomon: This is more information than I wanted to learn today.

Belphie: Next time don’t flirt with my human right in front of my face. Now, take your decent 5.5 and find someone else to handle it.

Solomon: How did- MC?

MC: It wasn’t me.

Belphie: Only two more guesses. Or was it three?

Solomon: . . .

MC: Three of the brothers? Nice. Which ones?

Solomon: No. We're not doing this.
